Hello everyone, I'd like to show you a few things that I have for sale today in my little shop. But first I would like to tell you what I have been doing today. My little craft shop/working studio has been so messy since the summer that I could barely move around in there and I think that's why I haven't been very creative as of late. So I wanted to start the new year on a clean slate by getting my work area back in order and hopefully get some creative juices flowing. So I spent most of the day cleaning and throwing out and putting things back where they belong. I was to embarrassed to show you the before pics of the mess, but did take some after pics. When I look at these pictures, it still looks a bit messy but really it isn't. I even vacuumed and dusted. I bought tubs and sorted out my wool by color, even the leftover snippets are all in their little bins by color. So here are the studio pictures.
Now getting back to my Sunday Sale. I'm hoping to be able to sell out of most of the things you can and cannot see in these pictures, so I can have more space to do more crafts(sewing, hooking, felting and prim painting). I thought I would do a sale on Sundays and post it on the blog. I say Sunday because its the only day that I have time to do this and hopefully there will be things that interest you.
WOOL GARDEN SUNDAY SALE
MENO TRIGGER GRIP Sold
$24 PLUS SHIPPING
I have one hook left for sale in its package. This is a hook that can be held in different ways for people that have wrist problems due to arthritis or other problems. The length of the hook itself is 1 3/4" long and is a primitive hook. Here is a link for more information on the Meno Trigger Grip:

WOOL FELT
$3 PLUS SHIPPING
13 1/2" X 19 1/2"
This wool has a nice primitive antique gold color to it. The wool is felted and a bit hard on the wrist to hook with since its a bit thick to hook with but would be great for wool appliques.
SPOT DYED WOOL(OPAL)

1/4 yard before dying
28 1/2" x 16"
This was spot dyed using Magic carpet dyes and Antique Colours & Spots dye book. This is a lovely soft piece of wool. The next two pictures show you the whole piece.

Doris-Ann: Your work space looks great. Doesn't it feel good? I just did the same thing because it got so awful. Happy new year to you!!! Best wishes, Martie
ReplyDeleteGood for you Doris Ann, your studio looks great and in order, ready for productivity for the new year.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how messy my studio gets also. It's being used as temporary storage for my Ceramic supplies and bisque because of the spring flood and it's difficult to keep things tidy. I'm going from one room for my hooking stuff. It's my hope that I'll be able to sell lots of the ceramic stuff when I'm ready. Love that wool of yours. All the best. JB
